TanStack Start is just a beautiful system. So clean and clear.

I don't know if it is just me but it seems like a waste of time basically? Frontend code is almost always generated nowadays. Nobody is going to care about the framework details.

I think you still want to pick solutions that lead to low code density and fast speeds and good type checking - it reduces the number of tokens required to generate the code.
Just like why picking Rust is better than C. It is why TanStack Start + Router is better than Next.js.
All of that plus runtime performance and features.
All of these things still matter for agents. I think it’s just less visible to a dev now.
But velocity, bugs, token costs are still being impacted. You only see that if you are tracking it.
Scaling maintainable code base is probably more important than ever with the fire hose of code incoming.

It's remarkable to see the death of curiosity and ingenuity in our industry. How can you review the generated code effectively if you don't care about the framework details? It seems to me that there's a broad segment of developers out there who are happy to limit their choices, narrow their horizons and freeze their stack into a specific period of time because it's the path of least resistance for their agents.
