This is a hot take I agree with. Let’s not forget that all his companies are actually run by other people (who are actually engineers) and that his Masters degree is in marketing.

Every single "example" of Elon Musk's products being terrible is completely wrong.
I honestly can't tell if this article is serious or meant to be taken as a joke.
Edit:
Just looked at the "About Me" and now I feel like a dick.
Unfortunately seems like the author has some kind of mental issues.

Tesla succeeded when engineers ran things. After the model 3 got out of "production hell", musk turned tesla into a bank account and raided it. When tesla fails, spacex will buy it like tesla bought solar city.

One wonders how many failed acquisitions that were subsequently rolled into a larger entity that somehow didn't take a hit to its evaluation can be done before it starts to look like a scam.
It's amazing that SpaceX could swallow the overpriced and revenue under-performing wreckage of Twitter and still have an absurdly priced IPO. It's one of those things that it works until it stops working because there's no reason it worked in the first place.

this is not how we comment on HN, leave that on X please

No, he is correct! Hackernews is one of these platform without a negative-feedback-channel, and a very opinionated community, which is a serious problem. Especially when the post itself is a bizarre opinion, not a clear fact.
This post is probably just another part of the campaign against him.
Musk itself said he's not an engineer.

"campaign against him" is almost as rich as he is
worlds richest man gets his panties in a bundle ober criticism, cannot understand why people are so upset with him... he's likely surrounded himself with sycophants, who also get their panties in a bundle when he's criticized... its really quite sad

what you said has nothing to do with what i said.. are you even a real human?
i meant that it's sad people blindly follow narratives instead of looking into the issue itself.

Please leave this kind of commentary on X, HN comments should become more substinitive and engaging as the thread deepens, not turn to shallow accusations
I am judging Elon based on his own words, I don't need others to tell me how to interpret them. I'm judging his fanbois who go around and tell us we are wrong, I'm not interested in their instructions on how we should interpret Elon's words (i.e. a narrative)
I used to be a big fan of Elon, watch all his interviews, watch Starbase get built up from nothing with the NASASpaceFlight channel on YouTube.
Then Elon broke, I'm not sure what happened, but he changed and not for the better. Or maybe this is his true self and we didn't get to see it in the public until more recently. It doesn't matter, he has become a person that has earned the ire of many many people. When you are a celebrity / oligarchy, people are going to say things about you, always been that way. Libel and defamation laws are harder to use for public figures for a reason.
